House Of Frankenstein was the first film I saw on Thriller 18.

"Thriller 18" and "Terror in the Night" were staples of my childhood. We didn't have cable and were closer to Louisville, but Dad was an electrician and built a big tower antenna with a booster and directional motor (with the box in the house), so we could pull in a lot of extra stations. Saturday night started with The Fear Monger's "Fright Night" on WDRB 41 (unless we could pull in the Cool Ghoul out of Cincinnati when conditions were right), then after the news I'd tune in one of the Lexington shows. We had a rock band starting when we were about 13, and (influenced by Black Sabbath and Alice Cooper) opened the show with the theme from "Thriller 18". Nothing topped those old days of independent programming, before the bigger networks took over everything.
