The first season of My Favorite Martian will be released on DVD soon. When, oh when will TVLand devote one of its weekend marathons to a long awaited Mr. Terrific meets Captain Nice match up?

I'd like to see Hawaiian Eye,Adventures in Paradise,Bourbon Street Beat,Route 66,77 Sunset Strip,Yancy Derringer,My Living Doll, and many more.I recall when one local channel had a comedy line up every week day morning of December Bride,The Real McCoys,Pete'n'Gladys,I Love Lucy(of course),and The Dick VanDyke Show.I would kill for access to the obscure b&w cartoons that played on local TV literally everyday of my childhood!

:)A long overdue DVD release is the ANDY WILLIAMS SHOW from 1962 - 1971 on NBC. He was the best of the best in variety television with 3 emmy's to prove it. and it would be great to see those shows again. I recnetly saw Andy in concert at his theatre in Branson, and he still going strong and loks great.

What I most recall about the Andy Williams Show is the recurring skit featuring Janos Prohaska(sp?) in the bear suit.Ol' Andy must pretty darn old...glad he's still going strong.I miss the variety shows like Ed Sullivan and Hollywood Palace.Where did all the plate spinners go ?I distictly remember seeing Joey Heatherton singing and dancing on Hollywood Palace...I think I started shaving the very next day!In that vein,I remember Juliet Prowse and Denny Miller in "Mona McClusky".Seems like someone would find a way to tap into all the potential revenue represented by all those great TV series languishing in the vaults.I picked up some dollar dvd versions of "Make Room for Daddy"with Danny Thomas, and "Love That Bob"with Bob Cummings.Seems like it would be worth it.

I, too, have fond memories of watching the 1970s-era Andy Williams show on Saturday nights with the bear and, my favorite, Charlie Callas as "Captain Weird." I've just recently rediscovered Andy and his music via some "Best of" CDs.
I'm a big fan of the big and brassy (and long gone) 1960s-era variety shows -- thanks to DVD technology, I don't watch present-day network TV anymore.

Hi. I was on a children's television program around 1969-1970, taped and aired in Lexington entitled "That Special Child". It featured various things of interest to children, songs, crafts, safety, etc.
I don't know which television station. Anyone heard of it?
